Do you want to call and beg for your meds every month, be sent to endless voicemail and never gets returned, only get to talk to a call center that can’t help you with anything? This is the doctor for you! I have been a patient for over 30 years and in the last few years this place has gone to hell. I was really trying to get healthy this year and have done everything they have asked of me but yet I have to fight to get BP meds and GLP-1’s all that they recommended! They call in one refill and that’s it. It has become monthly visits and eight phone calls a week to keep my meds filled. Just not worth it anymore. This place is complete trash.

WELL!!!! I've been with this company for a few years now...I've grown to love the staff..even the new ones..NOW,that I'm officially with the sarasota university office,with a new doctor.....it seems as tho the communications are OFF...I've called numerous of times abo u a situation..and the only thing I'm told is,"someone will call you b ack". But I haven't got a call YET.its been 4/5 days...

Great Doctors, great people at the front desk really really good! The huge problem they have is the refer approval when you call or your specialist office calls, they will take days to call you back and send the paperwork and you probably lose your specialist appointment so you end up pushing months forward! It My advice, when you need paperwork go to the office, don't call The phone service is just terrible

Getting through to someone on the phones is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE. There have been times where it’s taken two weeks to get a call back and sometimes I never receive one no matter how many voicemails I leave. They’ve been saying for years they’re fixing the phone situation but there’s been no change. Not only that but the website they have set up to schedule an appointment on instead of calling doesn’t work. At all. The tabs to select from to set up the appointment request don’t work. They haven’t for at least a year and that’s as long as I’ve known about it so who knows if it ever even did. I work in tech, it’s not a hard fix, it’s just amounts to if they feel like putting the little money into a better web designer to make their patients lives easier. If no one answers the phones and no one calls you back and you can’t schedule an appointment online what the hell are us patients supposed to do? Drive there??? I live 25 minutes away. Someone needs to fix this madness. It’s extremely unprofessional.

Doctors are great…receptionists/operators are awful! I never can speak to an actual person to schedule/reschedule an appointment. The hoops that so have to jump through to get a prescription refilled are asinine! It’s sad that such great doctors, PA’s and nurse practitioner last have such poor office staff! I received a call saying that they won’t approve my medication refill without an appointment . I’ve called SIX times and they STILL haven’t returned my call! When their voicemail says “your call is important to us”, they’re lying!
